    Somatic Movements

         The object of Somatic Movements are to loosen your body from constricted muscles. The primary task is to focus your attention on the internal sensations of the movement.

         Most movements are done lying on a mat or rug. For people that can not get on the floor, movements can be done sitting in a chair. You want to wear loose clothing and be away from distractions.

       All movements are done slowly, which gives your brain the chance to notice all that is happening.

      Always move gently, with the least possible effort, no movement should be forced and somatic movements are not to be painful.

     By being persistent, patient and positive, Somatic movements will change your body by teaching your brain.

     Classes:   Group, Private & Workshops.                          Private Table work.
